Prevent the Flu this Season

The following article was sent to me without a byline. I hesitate to post anything where I can not give credit to the author; however, I hope I will be forgiven as I believe this is too important to ignore. Having studied herbs and natural medicines for over 20 years, I can tell you that the following information is sound. The only item I do not know about is the Bioperine. You may want to do your own research on that before using it. As always, talk to a trusted health care provider before treating yourself.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Swine/Bird flu causes death among the strongest and most healthy individuals by causing a cytokine storm in the person's normal immune system to overreact and flood the lungs with fluid.
The current H1N1 outbreak has had a very low mortality rate, in large part because it doesn't trigger this cytokine storm and also, is a close relative of an older flu strain for which many older individuals already have partial immunity. But if this comes back in the fall, with a deadly mutation ,or from deadly shots it will cause this cytokine storm. that produces these different receptors TNF-a, IL-6, IL-1, IL-8, neuraminidase, & others. The first part of the below protocol will prevent you from getting the swine/bird flu. The second part will inhibit the above receptors that swine/ bird flu need to cause a cytokine storm in the body. If you do get the cytokine storm the Turmeric 95% CURCUMIN combined with the Bioperine® will stop the deadly cytokine storm.
The best medications to have in kit:
(These are adult doses, modify by body weight for children.)
To Prevent the flu:
1. Colloidal Silver: 30ppm silver ,will help kill the flu dead in it's tracks taken oraly, & nebulised thru the nose & mouth into the lungs 3 times a day.
2. Vitamin C w/Rose Hips: 1000 mg taken with each meal 3 times a day. and increase slowly to 2000-4000 mg per meal. Your optimal dose is just below the point where your body complains by giving you mild diarrhea. This is called the "bowel tolerance dose." Such doses are perfectly safe. Be sure to take vitamin C with food that will coat your stomach to prevent stomach upset.
3. Vitamin D : adults can simply take 4,000 units a day, or less when you go into the sun. Children over 50 pounds need up to 2,000 units a day. Under 50 pounds, about 1,000 units a day. There is no way to know for sure how much you need without a blood test, called a 25-hydroxy-vitamin D. That test should be conducted in the late winter, when your levels are the lowest, and at the beginning of fall, when your levels are the highest.
If You Come Down With The Flu :
1. Bioperine® : A 20 mg dose of Bioperine® can increase curcumin’s bioavailability twentyfold . Take 30 min before the Turmeric 95% CURCUMIN.
2. Turmeric 95% CURCUMIN: 900mg: to stop a "cytokine storm" immune system overreaction if you become infected. Take 4 900mg tabs a day.
3. Scuttellaria (Skullcap):Antiviral. A herb used as a tea. It has no side effects and is also a mild tranquilizer. Research suggests neuraminidase, which is a substance needed by the H5N1 virus to reproduce, may be inhibited.
4. Green Tea :(possible Tamiflu/Relenza alternative)- Very effective antiviral. Also decreases the production of the cytokine (catechins) TNF-a. Inhibits neuraminidase. May have antiviral activity that is equal to other antivirals such as Tamiflu.
5. Resveratrol : In addition to inhibiting neuraminidase, resveratrol also sends a message to cells to stop manufacturing viruses.
6. Cat’s Claw (Enzymatic Therapy Saventaro): The Only Cat's Claw That's: - 100% Contaminant-free (no TOA's) - 200% More Potent than Cat's claw products derived from the bark - Guaranteed to benefit both the natural and acquired immune systems Decreases the production of the cytokine TNF-a. Also boosts immune system. The number of white blood cells was significantly increased during treatment. No toxicity was noted.
7. Vitamin E : Immune booster. Also decreases the production of the cytokine TNF-a. Very suitable for immune compromised people, especially the elderly. Effects enhanced when taken with Vitamin C.
8. St Johns Wort (Hypericum): - Very effective antiviral. Also decreases the production of the cytokine IL-6. Hypericum is an extract from St John’s Wort. There have been some very successful field trials in commercial flocks infected with H5N1 in Vietnam.
9. Zinc (L-OptiZinc 30 mg of Zinc): , a zinc-methionine complex ,Zinc has been shown to have direct activity against a range of viruses. Zinc is a mild to moderate inhibitor of neuraminidase. Zinc ions have been shown to have a slight inhibitory action on all strains of neuraminidase tested Zinc reduces TNF, IL-1 and IL-8 production Zinc can also turn down TNF, ICAM and
other cytokines involved in over reaction to H5N1 and other viruses.
9. Hydrogen Peroxide (H202) (3% solution food grade) :and a Nebulizer that will allow you to fill the medicine container. Mix H202—2 parts to 1 part distilled water. Nebulize into lungs by breathing mist deeply and through mouth 3-6 times daily according to symptoms. remarkable results in curing the flu and cold within 12 to 14 hours by administering a few drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) into each infected ear, (sometimes only one ear is infected). The H2O2 starts working within 2 to 3 minutes in killing the flu or cold; there will be some bubbling and in some cases mild stinging occurs. Wait until the bubbling and stinging subside (usually just a few minutes), then drain the excess fluid onto a tissue and repeat the process in the other ear. It is easiest to lie on your side in bed while using this method, and a Q-tip or cotton ball work well to administer the H2O2. It is best to use 35% food grade Hydrogen peroxide diluted to a 3% solution. mix 1 ounce 35% food grade peroxide to 11 ounces of distiled water in a pint jar ,shake. you now have a 3% peroxide.
The following substances may be best to avoid during a H5N1 pandemic:
Elderberry juice (Sambucal) - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. This substance is very effective against the common flu but may not be desirable for the H5N1 virus. Increases in these cytokines may trigger a lethal cytokine storm.
Micro Algae (Chlorella and Spirulina) - AVOID - Increases production of cytokine TNF-a.
Honey - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6.
Chocolate - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6.
Echinacea - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. Although it is often used for normal flu, research shows that it may increase the chance of cytokine storms for H5N1.
Kimchi - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. calcium and magnesium-AVOID increased the activity of neuraminidases.
Dairy products & Bananas - AVOID - These foods increase mucous production.
AMAZING Story of Recovery from Severe Chemical Toxicity
Do you work in the Beauty Industry or know anyone who does? This story also is for anyone exposed to chemicals. We all know people who could benefit from Chantal's story! This, and many more stories, can be found at www.LiquidStories.com
I Survived Chemical Toxicity - On 25 different medications…
By Chantal Papausek
About Chantal Papousek: Chantal grew up in the salon industry. Her mom was a cosmetologist. Chantal has had a passion for the industry ever since she can remember. She went to Rudy & Kelley School of Hair Design in Virginia Beach, Virginia and graduated with the highest GPA and highest sales in a 5 year period. She worked as a Shampoo Apprentice in their chain of salons while she was in school. She moved back to Iowa in 1992 where she worked for a year at Cost Cutters. A year later she married her husband and moved to Fredericksburg, Iowa. She worked at two salons in New Hampton before opening her own salon in Fredericksburg in 1997. In 2008 her family moved to New Hampton, Iowa where she now owns a salon and her spa room. Chantal has been trained as a Master Colorist by Schwartzkof and ISO. She also worked as an Account Executive for State Beauty Supply where she called on 311 salons in Iowa; training them in the art of retail and updating them on the latest trends in cuts, colors, and perms. Chantal survived health problems that were caused by the chemicals in the salon products she had been exposed to for years and now wants to help others in the cosmetology field so they do not have to live through what she and her family did. Below is her story.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In 1994, right after our son was born, my health started to fail.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and put on medication in 1994. After a year I still did not feel well. I was then diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and put on medication for that. Another year went by and I was getting sick all the time. I was in and out of hospitals. I was sent down to a specialist in Iowa City where I was diagnosed with Common Variable Immune Disorder, meaning my immune system was very weak and I could not make antibodies to fight infection, even when given a vaccine. I was then put on a full years course of antibiotics.

A while later my joints started to flare up and I was in a lot of pain I had positive blood tests for Rheumatoid Arthritis and was put on more medication to control the RA. When I did not improve I had another battery of tests done and I was found to have Lupus. I was told my quality of life would be poor and that I may end up in a wheel chair or a rest home by the time I reached my mid 30's. I was put on more medication to control these diseases.

In the mean time I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, allergies, asthma, and hormonal imbalances. I was put on more medication. I was on 25 different medications at the same time! My quality of life was so poor that I thought to curl up and die: like the doctors told me I could do with all that was wrong with me. I was only 24 years old, a new wife, and a first time mom. I remember not being able to pick up our son from his crib because my arms would not work or they were too weak to hold him. Nothing can break a moms heart like that!

Despite the bad health I still managed to own and work in a salon. Several times I worked while I had an IV pic line in my arm due to infections. Every 12 hours I had to get a bag of antibiotic put in. The doctors started doing this for me because I was in the hospital so much. This saved me money and I could still work and be at home.

Then in 2003 something was really wrong with me. I had hand tremors so bad that I could not pick up small objects or eat very well. I started to have fits where my whole body would shake and tremor uncontrollably. I went from 99 pounds up to 140 almost over night. I did not feel well, I lost most of my strength, my hair thinned out, I could not think straight, I wanted to sleep all the time, the whites of my eyes were creamy yellow, and my body broke out in severe acne type lesions. My husband had to carry me from the bedroom to the living room to the bathroom and back again because I could barely walk anymore. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with chemical toxicity and chemical allergies which had symptoms that mimicked Parkinson's Disease; ie the tremors and shaking.

My liver and kidneys were very stressed. I had 33 years of chemical exposure built up in my body from salon chemicals like ammonia, thioglycolates, SLS, fumes from hairsprays, etc. This surprised me because I always wore gloves when doing perms and colors and had a well ventilated area to work in! At this point I had to close my salon and lose my income because I was too sick to work.

I could not do chealation by IV since my body was so stressed. We used a machine that put sound waves into my body to break up the chemicals like a high pitch noise would shatter glass. I went from weighing 140 down to 104 with in months. I was put on an all natural liquid supplement called Body Balance that helped to remove those broken chemical compounds and helped them to leave my body while it replaced all the lost vitamins, minerals, glyconutrients, amino acids, etc that the toxicity had depleted.

After three days of taking Body Balance my strength started to return. I could stand on my own and walk a few steps. I had more energy by the end of the first week and I could think straight. I added OsteoProCare and the pain in my muscles and joints went away as well as the severe menstrual cramps and some of the tremors. I felt better than I ever had before! I could stay awake all day by the fourth month. That is when I started physical therapy to regain the strength to walk and use my arms. It only took me three months of physical therapy to do so! The physical therapists were very surprised. I told them I was taking Body Balance and that I thought it was helping to give my strength back as well as believing in the power of prayer.

I actually tried to stop taking the supplements about a year later because I was feeling so good, but within a few weeks, I started to feel like I did when I was sick, so I started taking them again. That taught me that no matter how my symptoms went away, it is up to me to put the correct nourishment into my body to retain the health benefits I have gotten. If you put the wrong fuel in a car it won’t run long, the same is true with our bodies!

Since then, I have had several blood tests ran and there are no signs of toxicity. The pain from the Fibromyalgia is gone as well as the fatigue from CFS. My immune system is not underactive anymore, but rather, it is overactive. That too should balance itself out as it continues to heal. I do not have depression or anxiety and have been off all medications since 2002! The hormone tests were all in range. I do not have Lupus, Parkinson's, or anything that I had been previously diagnosed with. Just the lingering memories of what I went through and I often wonder what our family would be like if I did not miscarry our daughter. I recently found out that cosmetologists have the highest rate of miscarriage of any industry because of the chemicals we are exposed to. I felt cheated out of our little girl. If only someone would have known and told me back then, we may have our daughter with us today. She would have been a happy and beautiful 12 year old just entering the 7th grade. This is the hardest part of what I went through.

As I write this 12 years later, it still brings tears to my eyes. I'm not sure that pain will ever go away. The loss of a child, born or unborn, is hard on a mother. We are blessed to have our son, whom we almost lost at 5 months into the pregnancy too. I also just learned cosmetologists have the highest rate of bladder and ovarian cancers. I just had my yearly check up at Mayo in Rochester. They took 23 vials of blood, did a brain MRI, as well as checking each body system independently and they gave me another clean bill of health! No lingering toxins or damage from the toxins was found at this appointment!

Am I in the clear for the rest of my life? We do not know. Time will tell if any long term damage was done to the cells in my body and what the after effects will be. So far no cancer and that is a great thing! I am almost 6 years in the clear now.

However, if I get around chemicals for too long, I can tell. My husband calls me a "Barometer for Chemicals". My fingers will get a tremor in them and my body will become weak. I watch what I eat and watch what I put onto my skin. I use all natural cleaning products and laundry detergents. A lot has changed in my life since then. My quality of life has improved so much! I am able to live a healthy, prescription free, meaningful life again!

I am back in the cosmetology industry. That may surprise some. I reopened my salon in 2007 after being closed for almost 4 years. I own an organic salon now. No damaging chemicals! I do hair cuts, natural ammonia free color, waxing, Herbal Body Wraps, Ion Spa Foot Detox Baths, facials, reflexology, and sell a wide variety of organic and all natural products for the family and house hold use. I also own a spa room where I help others detox and regain their health. You may notice I do not do perms. It is because I cannot find a safe one to use. There are companies working on safer alternatives to the traditional perm chemicals and I hope to introduce perms into my salon at some point in time.

I have a passion for helping others in the cosmetology industry who are dealing with vague symptoms such as weight gain, headaches, fatigue, tremors in the hands, aches, and pains. I know how frustrating it is when the doctor does not know why you feel so bad or they tell you it is in your head. No, it is not! I feel I was given a second chance at life to help others.

Direct Sales Offer Recession-Proof Jobs

Life Force Member Newsletter - reprinted by permission.

By Charisse Jones, USA TODAY

Not long ago, Craig Lapp made his living driving a truck that helped carve Southern California's soil into new developments. But then housing sales slumped, and in November 2007 Lapp's construction company let him go.

While he searched for another job, Lapp began working alongside his wife, Lynne, in a business based in their Temecula home, selling nutritional supplements made by a direct-sales company. Nearly two years later and with no construction job in sight, Lapp says a one-time sideline has become the couple's bread and butter.
"It's paying our mortgage, our car payments, putting food on the table," says Lapp, 55, who adds that he and his wife are earning a six-figure income. "It was our 'Plan B' that turned into our 'Plan A.' "

Direct-sales businesses that rely on home-based representatives are seeing their sales forces rapidly expand as the nation's unemployment rate soars to nearly 9% and those who lost jobs and nest eggs look for new ways to make money.

"We're recession-resistant in the sense that more people come to us during economic hard times for supplemental income or replacement of a lost job," says Neil Offen, president of the Direct Selling Association, the trade group that represents the largest U.S. direct sales companies.

While 2008 industry figures aren't yet available, "Anecdotally we're hearing that recruitment is up and unfortunately as the unemployment rate rises to 10% or higher, we'll be picking up more people who need an income-earning opportunity."

"Right now, our direct-selling opportunity is really the No. 1 product that we have to sell," says an industry executive.

There are roughly 15 million direct sellers in the U.S. - independent contractors who sell goods or services primarily through parties, demonstrations in someone's home and one-on-one interactions. In 2007, the most recent year available, the sales industry generated $30.8 billion in U.S. sales, according to the Direct Selling Association.

Compensation systems vary, but representatives primarily earn money from commissions on product sales or by purchasing the products wholesale and selling them at retail prices, says the Direct Selling Association. Commissions on sales typically are 25% to 50% of retail.

While representatives may also earn a small commission on the sales from representatives they've recruited, legitimate businesses do not use recruitment alone as a basis for compensation, the association says.

Denise Ruiz-Cabrera, 31, of Branchburg, N.J., was nearly five months pregnant in March 2008 when she lost her job as a corporate recruiter. She could not find a new job.

"I exhausted almost every single contact that I had," she says of her search. "I think people in these times, we're hungrier than we used to be," says Ruiz-Cabrera, who has made as much as $1,000 a month with her company. "I had jobs lined up in the pipeline that all fell through because of the economy, and I focused all that energy on my business and in three months I've built something that looks to be pretty promising."
Direct selling is a fluid industry, with only 10% of representatives working "full time," or at least 30 hours a week. Many work only long enough to meet short-term goals, such as holiday presents.

But some who work in or watch the industry believe the severity of this recession may cause more sellers to stick with it, even when the economy rebounds, at least as a way to supplement their income.

Another company executive stated, "With this economy, people can't take their jobs for granted anymore. They have to have another alternative, so if something does happen, this is their safety valve."

Are you scared?

The news is dire - seems like it always is these days. Many believe we have a ways to go until we hit bottom in our economy.

Has it affected you yet? Do you still have a job? How about your spouse? Your kids? Your parents?

Then there's this health care thing. Everyone says whatever you do don't end up in the hospital. So much disease floating around. They are often understaffed and overworked.
There there is the cost. My son broke his finger recently and the end bill was over $5000.00. That is the right number of zeros - I said five thousand! Unbelievable.

So what can you do? How can you take back control of your own life?

Watch this video and let me know what you think. Click here for video.

Review of the Cabbage Soup diet

Well - that's over. I knew there was a reason I didn't believe in diets. Did you try it? The soup is actually pretty good, but after a week you are craving something you can sink your teeth into. I did lose 5 pounds in the first few days, but when I had nice healthy dinner(fish, vegetable and salad) with my husband on his birthday, I gained them all back the next day. Quite depressing.

I do think that the soup diet curbed by hunger somewhat so when I did eat, it was a smaller portion. Will that last? I don't know.

Bottom line for me is don't diet. It's a waste of time and creates too much stress for the whole family.

Instead - really think about what you eat. Here are some things I believe about eating:

- only eat when you are hungry
- eat slowly - enjoy each bite and make it last so you are not tempted to grab seconds
- eat at home as much as possible - you can learn how to prepare foods that you like and that you know are healthy - you can control portion sizes too
- eat a little of everything so you don't feel deprived
- move your body every day in a way that if fun for you (yoga, dance, tennis, biking, ....)
- understand that food is NUTRITION and treat it as such

I'm sure there are more, but that's what I've got now.

I would love your feedback on this diet and diets in general, weight loss, etc.

Be well and happy,
Mary

Day one on the Cabbage Diet

Well - I did it. I will admit to a spoonful of peanut butter at the end of the day. By 5:00 I was quite tired of this soup - couldn't take another bite. However, I wasn't feeling especially hungry either. Just don't let me see a bag of potato chips or box of crackers. : (

Not sure why I'm doing this. I really do not believe in diets. This one is pretty restrictive and seems to be more of a vegetable cleanse.

I am someone who truly loves to eat. I love to cook and love to create new dishes. The boredom of one same mushy food all day is pretty hard to take.

So - for what it's worth - I made it through day one and off to bed now.

How about you?

Join me in trying the Cabbage Soup Diet.

Well I'm going to try this - they say you can lose 9 lbs in 11 days. This will only be part of my strategy, and I'll talk about the other tactics as we go along.
I hope you will join me and comment on your results. I sure could use the support. : )

The link above will take you to the program on line; however, I have made a few changes to the soup recipe to make it a bit healthier.

Cabbage Soup recipe:
- chopped onions (6 green or one large leek or sweet onion)
- 5 or more cloves of garlic chopped
- 2 jalapenos chopped (optional)
- 2 green peppers chopped
- 2 large cans of diced tomatoes
- one head of cabbage chopped
- whole bunch of parsley or cilantro chopped
- whole bag of carrots sliced
- whole container of mushrooms sliced (use a variety if you like)
- whole bunch of celery sliced
- organic broth in a box (beef, chicken, veggie - your choice)
- 64 oz bottle of V8
- 3 tbl of Worcestershire Sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- tumeric, and curry powder with the cilantro for an eastern flavor
- chili powder, cumin with the cilantro for a Mexican flavor
- oregano and basil with the parsley for an Italian flavor

Assembling the soup.
Heat large kettle and add 3 - 4 tablespoons of olive oil or organic coconut oil.
Saute the garlic, peppers and onions and mushrooms.
Add savory spices if using them and saute a few minutes to release flavors.
Add all other ingredients and enough water to cover vegetables.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 hours.

Cool enough to handle then divide into glass jars or containers to store in the fridge.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tomorrow is my first official day. Wish me luck. Better yet - join me and I'll wish us both luck. Be sure to check out the web site for all the details. http://www.cabbage-soup-diet.com.
Tomorrow I'll tell you some of the other tricks I'm using. I'll also let you know as we go along, how effective this all is.
See you tomorrow.
What if...
What if you could take control of your life?
What if you didn't have to worry about your boss's mood, or your next performance review, or your quota for this month?
What if you could go to your daughter's performance in the school play without having to 'beg' for time off?
What if you could wake up in the morning and be excited about your day?
What if you felt really good when you got up and that great feeling of health and vitality lasted all day?
What if you felt satisfied at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference in someone's life?
What if . . . ?
What's your dream? Do you even take time to dream? Do you realize that your dream is within reach?
I love to talk with people about the life they envision for themselves. Maybe I can help you find a path to get you there faster. Maybe not. Either way - you'll walk away with a clearer vision.
Email me at millionsmore@gmail.com if you want to talk.
My wish for you is a better tomorrow in every way.
