Hi Mary-
I love Mango Papaya salsa in the summer-it goes well over so many things, chicken, seafood, crab cakes, enchalada's and even with chips if someone is having a chip craving.  It is mango, papaya, red pepper, fresh ginger chopped up, red onion, cilantro-fresh, sesame oil-just a touch, and a small jalapeno cut up, a pinch of lemon juice and season to your liking.

Its time to make some changes

Is Aspartame making you fatter?

Drinking "diet" soda and eating "diet" foods is supposed to help you lose weight. Wrong!

Actually just the opposite happens. Aspertame in your diet can lead to "metabolic syndrome" which is a cluster of risk factors such as excessive fat around your waist, high cholesterol, high blood sugar and high blood pressure, all of which can raise your risk of heart disease and diabetes. In addition, Aspertame will

* Stimulate your appetite so you want to eat more
* Eliminate your body's natural signals for "fullness"
* Increase cravings for carbs and sugars
* Stimulate fat storage and weight GAIN!

One more thing, Aspartame is an "excitotoxin" that over stimulates brain cells and leads to the eventual death of certain brain cells.

The list below shows some of the illnesses that can be misdiagnosed when what you really have is "aspartame toxicity".

So what about Sucralose? Many are turning to this as a "healthy" alternative to aspertame; however, studies have shown that high levels of sucralose can lead to

* decreased red blood cells
* increased male infertility
* possible brain lesions
* enlarged and calcified kidneys
* spontaneous abortions and more.

Dr. Mercola has written a book titled Sweet Deception that goes into more detail with documented research. You can find it at his website http://products.mercola.com/sweet-deception/

The best idea is to kick the soda and diet food habbit. If you must have sweets, look for stevia, a plant that is many times sweeter than sugar and available in liquid or crystal form pretty much everywhere.

To help combat your cravings for sweets, you may need to simply add some good nutrition like Body Balance, or you may need more. I'd be happy to help you get started. Take the first step, and the next step will be easier.

You can do this! Do it for yourself or do it for your children. Let's get back in control of our health.

Be well ~

Mary
